Alex Eddy – February 2018

Alex Eddy – February 2018

For February 2018, we honored Alex Eddy as our Hoquiam Hero. He graduated from Hoquiam High School, Grays Harbor College, and then Evergreen State College, and throughout years in school and still today he serves the youth in our community. He has played in Aberdeen High School’s pit band for years, and served as their musical director, and won a 5th Avenue Award for his lighting design for the production of Aida. He was in the 7th St. Kids for many years, and has now served as their music director for the past 10 years. Alex has also been involved with the Driftwood Theatre as an actor and a director, and he has worked with Hoquiam High School’s drama department over the years in more ways than we can count. If it involved theatre or music on the harbor, you will find Alex Eddy. His effort and service in this area has helped keep these programs operating with fidelity for the youth of Grays Harbor, and for that we thank Alex Eddy for his service to our community.
