Jessy Park – May 2018

For May 2018, we honored Jessy Park as our Hoquiam Hero! For years, Jessy has dedicated herself to supporting the youth of Hoquiam. She has contributed to the Ms. Grays Harbor program, donated countless hours of her time to assist in producing the HHS spring musicals, supported and been a member of teams for the Out of Darkness walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and she is a leader in the Young Life program where she is a role model and friend to youth. Jessy goes above and beyond when it comes to serving her community. We presented her with this award in her own backyard, because she invited Young Life participants to her home to be together and enjoy a hot meal. We would like to thank Jessy for making herself available and approachable to all those she encounters. It is clear to us that she is making a positive impact on many lives.
